Student Orgs Calendar FAQ
The Student Organizations Calendar is primarily for posting Student Organizations events. Other important IUSM events may appear on the calendar also.
The intention is to replicate the notices that go to MD2B-Orgs-L, thus reducing the volume of events email. Posting to the calendar will also facilitate organizational and individual planning by graphically depicting time conflicts as only calendars can do.
Student leaders have posting access to the Google Student Organizations Calendar. Events that are sent to md2b-orgs-l@iupui.edu must also be posted to the calendar. It is quick and easy to copy and paste from email to the calendar.
Don't overlook this essential part of your communication strategy. Under-utilized calendars can be misleading! If you need help, please contact mgray@iupui.edu. (If your event is not intended for all medical students, try to indicate the audience in the event title.)

Depending on the device, there are instructions for syncing a Google calendar with Outlook. See the Google calendar support pages.
Outlook Web Access (OWA) does not currently support linking to a Google calendar. Please install the Outlook client if you want to connect from Outlook to the Student Organizations Google Calendar. From the Outlook client, in calendar view, click on Other Calendars -> Add Calendar -> from Internet. Paste this string into the "New internet calendar subscription" box:

For a quick online view or to print the Student Organizations calendar, go to the embedded Google calendar
The web view and print calendar page has a Google version of student orgs calendar. You can add it to your Gmail calendars by clicking the "+Google calendar" button at the bottom right of the calendar.
