Deaconess Hospital will also provide reimbursement for transportation expenses involved in a one-time round trip from medical school location to Evansville and return for each senior elective month. If the senior medical student serves two or more consecutive months, he/she will be reimbursed by Deaconess for a one way trip. Some variation in this policy will be decided on an individual basis.

Due to the limited student housing, both male and female students are accommodated in an apartment located on the hospital campus. There is a "mini" apartment within the apartment; two female students can be accommodated in the mini apartment.
The female students receive two keys for the apartment, one for the main entry doors (kitchen and living room doors) and the other is for the "mini" apartment. Each male student will have one key that will access the living room and kitchen doors only. The apartment utilized by the students has a bedroom with three twin beds.
