As of June 1, 2012, ALL medical students from LCME (MEDICAL DEGREE) SCHOOLS IN THE U.S. AND PUERTO RICO and COCA ACCREDITED AACOM MEMBER (DOCTOR OF OSTEOPATHY) COLLEGES must use the American Association of Medical Schools Visiting Student Application Service - VSAS: https://services.aamc.org/20/vsas/ - to apply for electives at Indiana University School of Medicine.

Please see the link below for more information. 2012-13 was the first year D.O. students can use the system so please inform the administration at your school of this policy and the need to become a VSAS member school. Applications for 2013-2014 will be accepted starting April 15, 2014.  

International students from affiliate schools should use the link below to apply for electives.
